NFL’s Sio Moore inspires Triangle kids to reach for more

Sio Moore, a linebacker with the Indianapolis Colts held his first football camp on Saturday, July 16, in Holly Springs

The camp brought adults and children together, creating leaders and inspiring goal setting and teamwork

He plans to hold more events in North Carolina in the future, including a breast cancer awareness event in October

Cary likes ‘firefly effect’ concept for downtown parking deck art

The Cary Town Council likes having a pixelated image of trees with internal light shining through in a concept for a new downtown parking deck. The council gave Wake County representatives feedback on regional library and parking deck concepts for future structures in downtown Cary. Representatives will return in August with final plan and cost estimates.

Cary council shapes eastern gateway to town

The Cary Town Council discussed the town’s proposed plan for the Eastern Cary Gateway Special Planning Area on Wednesday. This area includes the Cary Towne Center, Triangle Aquatic Center, WakeMed Soccer Park and a 90-acre site where a Wegmans may be built.
