A group of professionals hopes to open a co-working space in downtown Cary, and Holly Springs town officials are negotiating with the owner of Mojo Coworking in Asheville to open a space in their downtown police station when police relocate later this year.
During its retreat to Southern Pines on Feb. 21, the Holly Springs Town Council endorsed a town staff strategy to seek funding from the state Department of Transportation for portions of Main Street, Avent Ferry Road, Holly Springs Road and Sunset Lake Road.

Wake County school board members backed the staff’s recommendation to hold classes on Good Friday, a Saturday in April and a Saturday in May. Administrators recommended those options over extending the end of the school year, adding 20 minutes to the day or cutting into spring break.
