Cary man accused of possession of bogus bills

A Cary man is accused of possessing 103 counterfeit $100 bills, or about $10,300 in fake money.

The Cary Police Department on Thursday charged Mitchell Kalezic, 19, with felony possession of counterfeit instruments and felony conspiracy, according to an arrest warrant.

Kalezic had previously been arrested on May 26 for second-degree burglary, county records state. County records describe Kalezic as an employee of NC LogoWear and a resident of 106 Cambay Court.

He was being held Thursday at the Wake County jail in lieu of $515,000 bail.
