Police raided a hotel room early Tuesday and charged a man from Raleigh and one from Holly Springs with having marijuana, cocaine, Xanax and the party drug Molly. Police believe the men intended to sell the drugs.

James Warren Edmundson, 21, of 316 Flatrock Lane in Holly Springs and Carl Angelo Aguilar of 4130 Deep Hollow Drive in Raleigh were arrested about 3 a.m. at the Extended Stay America at 2700 Slater Road near Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

Both men were scheduled to appear before a judge Wednesday, and they were being hold on $500,000 bail each.

In arrest warrants, police said the two had 6.2 grams of MDMA, the drug known on the street as Molly, as well as 716 pills of the prescription anti-anxiety drug Xanax, 7.2 grams of cocaine and 446 grams (1 pound) of marijuana.

The two were, police wrote, manufacturing cocaine for sale by mixing powdered cocaine and inositol powder, a vitamin-like chemical that is sometimes used to each pain.

Police also charged them with maintaining the third-floor room as a place to keep and sell drugs.
