SBI agents Thursday arrested a 60-year-old registered sex offender at his home near Holly Springs on charges that he had pornographic computer pictures of prepubescent boys and girls.
Ronald Leon Baker of 6036 Adcock Road was arrested there about 11 a.m., records show.
In an arrest warrant, State Bureau of Investigation Special Agent W.C. Stark accused Baker of six counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, which is a felony.
Stark stated that Baker had the computer files in mid-June.

Baker is listed as a sex offender in North Carolina.
State prison records show he was convicted in Wake County in 1995 and 1997 of taking indecent liberties with a child and of second-degree sexual offense in the earlier case.
The latter conviction stemmed from a 1992 incident, the records show, and came while Baker was serving time in prison for the 1995 case.
He was released in 2003.
A magistrate set Baker’s bail at $750,000, and he was in custody pending a Friday court appearance.
