Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect they believe has broken into five restaurants since Oct. 20.
The most recent incident was Wednesday evening, when someone broke into the Wellington Park Shopping Center at SW Cary Parkway and Tryon Road, according to the town of Cary.
In each incident, someone entered the restaurant through a back door and targeted cash.
Based on video footage, police believe the suspect was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, jeans and black shoes. A white sedan appears to wait outside the business during the robberies, according to police.
