Police are asking for the public’s help to find three women suspected of stealing credit cards from vehicles and charging thousands of dollars to the cards.
Cary police responded to reports of two vehicle break-ins on the afternoon of March 19 at 1413 Hampton Valley Road.
Later that day, according to police, credit cards stolen from the vehicles were used at Cary Towne Center and other nearby retail stores.
The suspects are described as heavy-set black women between the ages of 20 and 40. Two of the suspects have short dark hair, according to police.
Surveillance footage shows the suspects were in a silver minivan, police said.
Police are encouraging residents to lock their vehicles and to keep valuables out of sight.
Anyone with information about the case should contact the Cary Police Department at 919-469-4012 or Cary Crime Stoppers at 919-460-4636.
