Holly Springs police offer $2,500 reward in murder case

Holly Springs police are offering a $2,500 reward for information that can lead to the arrest and conviction of whoever killed Darin Greene at a house at 1313 New Hill Road during what they believe was a robbery on March 23.

Police in Holly Springs hope that a $2,500 reward can elicit more information to help them charge someone in the March 23 murder of Darin Greene in a home at 1313 New Hill Road.

Tuesday, they urged anyone with information that could help them find and convict the killer to call Detective Lorrie Minshew at 919-567-4709.

Greene, 49, of Apex, was found dead at the house shortly before midnight. A second man was wounded.

Robbery appears to have been the motive for at least two people to come to the house, which sits back from the road and was not a random target, police have said.
