Police are asking for the public's help as they try to identify and find two men suspected of robbing a McDonald's restaurant early Sunday morning.
The eatery at 869 S.E. Maynard Road was robbed just after 3 a.m. Sunday, according to a release from the town of Cary. Two men flashed a weapon and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
One of the suspects is described as a black man in his early 20s, standing about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet with a skinny build. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, orange gloves, dark athletic pants with white stripes and a blue backpack. His face was covered with a camouflage bandana.
The other suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s, standing about 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches with a skinny build. He was wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, black gloves and blue jeans. His face was also covered with a camouflage bandana.
Several employees were in the restaurant during the incident. No injuries were reported.
