Rise’s eighth Triangle location will be in Holly Springs Towne Center along N.C. 55. The 2,300-square-foot space, which will feature outdoor patio space, will open in March, according to a news release.
Rise will join a host of new arrivals in the latest phase of Holly Springs Towne Center expansions, where a new movie theater – Ovation Cinema Grill 9 – and various national stores, including DSW, Bed Bath and Beyond and Blaze Pizza have opened in the last year and a half.
Rise’s first location opened in Durham in 2012 near Streets at Southpoint. The popular breakfast spot has since earned widespread praise from food critics, in particular for the quality of its biscuits and its unusual variety of doughnuts and confections, which include maple bacon bars, Cheerwine-iced doughnuts, and Pumpkin Spice Latte doughnuts.
The chain, which was featured in Food Network’s “Donut Showdown,” has expanded to three Raleigh locations, two in Durham, one in Morrisville and one in Carrboro. Beyond the Triangle, there are stores in Wilmington and Greensboro with sites expected to open in Charlotte and Allen, Texas, according to Rise’s website.
The Holly Springs site will be owned and operated by Ajay and Anju Patel. Follow the store on Facebook at @RiseHollySprings.
