Raizin’ a Ruckus Country Music Series
Cary will host the last country music concert in the series, featuring the Johnny Folsom 4 and the Canady Thomas Band, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary. Tickets are $5 for teens and adults and free for ages 12 and younger. Ruckus Pizza restaurants in Cary, Morrisville and Raleigh will offer a limited number of free tickets. Prevent Blindness Mixed Doubles Tennis Classic
The 23rd annual Prevent Blindness Mixed Doubles Tennis Classic will be from Thursday through Sunday, Aug. 3, at MacGregor Downs Country Club, 430 St. Andrews Lane, Cary. It begins with a patron party from 6-9 p.m. Thursday. The event will raise money for Prevent Blindness North Carolina. Registration to be an event patron and attend the Patron Party costs $40.
