‘Grease’

Koka Booth Amphitheatre will host a sing-along screening of “Grease” at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary. A four-pack of tickets costs $50. Tickets are $15 for teens and adults in advance or $20 the day of the show. Tickets are $7 for ages 5-12 in advance or $10 the day of the show. Admission is free for ages 4 and younger. ‘A Bad Year for Tomatoes’

Holly Springs Community Theater will present “A Bad Year for Tomatoes” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, Friday, Aug. 29, and Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Holly Springs Cultural Center, 300 W. Ballentine St. Admission costs $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.

‘The Colors of Awareness’

The Holly Springs Civitan Club’s Together on Center Stage program is looking for actors, dancers, singers and writers for “The Colors of Awareness, The Power of A Friend/The No Bully Zone.” The group is looking for experienced people, people with disabilities and people who have experienced bullying. The program will meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Thursday, Sept. 4. Shows will be in October. Participation costs $40. Cary Visual Art seeks photographers

Cary Visual Art is looking for entries for the Annual Art Ball on Nov. 1 at Prestonwood Country Club. Selected artwork will be displayed, sold and given as awards in the organization’s first juried photography competition and exhibition. Apply by Monday, Sept. 1. Apex Jazz & Music Festival
