Celebration of the Arts Festival
The 11th annual Celebration of the Arts Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, in downtown Fuquay-Varina. The Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association will accept applications for people selling art and crafts through Friday, April 11, at www.fuquay-varinadowntown.com. En Plein Air Paint-Off
The third annual En Plein Air Paint-Off will be from 2:30-7 p.m. Friday, April 11, during Art After Dark in downtown Fuquay-Varina. Artists will paint the local landscape.
A public auction of the paintings will be from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, on Vance Street. The top three winners’ paintings will be enlarged and placed on brick walls in the town’s historic district and added to the public art program organized by Fuquay-Varina Downtown and sponsored by Bob Barker, Inc. Spring for the Arts

Cary Town Band concert

Holly Springs Community Band spring concert
The Holly Springs Community Band spring concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 11, at the Holly Springs Cultural Center, 300 W. The Bookmarked! reading and music celebration will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 12, at the Cary Performance Green on the corner of Academy Street and Kildaire Farm Road. The event, which will feature readers, musicians, games and arts activities, will raise money for Dorcas Ministries, Lucy Daniels Center and Cary Creative Center. Holly Springs Reader’s Theater Troupe auditions
The Holly Springs Reader’s Theater Troupe will host auditions for its production of two short stories, “Lost at C” and “Wanda Hickey’s Night of Golden Memories,” from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12, in the Carolina Room of the Holly Springs Cultural Center, 300 W. Small Treasures Juried Exhibit

Thomas Pandolfi concert

‘The Three Little Pigs’
