Toddler Story Time
Barnes & Noble will host story time for toddlers at 10 a.m. Tuesdays at 760 SE Maynard Road, Cary.

Barnes & Noble will host story time for preschoolers at 10 a.m. Wednesdays at 760 SE Maynard Road, Cary.
Senior Bingo for Holly Springs residents will be from 1-3 p.m. at Bass Lake Park, 900 Bass Lake Road. Bingo cards cost $1. There will be cash prizes of up to $10.
Holly Springs Community Band open rehearsal

Family Fun Night

‘American Girl’ Club
Barnes & Noble’s “American Girl” Club will meet at 7 p.m. at 760 SE Maynard Road, Cary. Kids will talk about “American Girl” novels and the character Julie.
Cary Road Race
The 36th annual Cary Road Race will begin at 7 a.m. at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary. Registration starts at 7 a.m., the 10K at 8:30 a.m., the 5K at 9:45 a.m. and the one-mile fun run at 10:30 a.m. Winners are announced 30 minutes after each race’s end.
Early registration for the 5K or 10K costs $12 for recreational runners and $15 for competitors. Same-day registration for the 5K or 10K costs $15 for recreational runners and $20 for competitors. Safe Kids Day
Kids and families will learn about safety with games and activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Super Target parking lot, 1201 Beaver Creek Commons Drive, Apex. Safe Kids Day will cover safe driving and water, gun, fire and sports safety.
