Cary Gallery of Artists looks for new members

Kids’ pottery workshop
Lynne Fischer will lead pottery workshops for beginners, ages 8 and older, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at the Art Adventure Studio, 107 Spring Hollow Lane, Cary. Registration is required and costs $20 at etsy.me/1geRjxd. Supplies are included in the fee. For details, call 919-233-1598.
Hob Nob Jazz Series
Boneslinger will perform in the third year of the Hob Nob Jazz Series from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary. This is the last performance of the series. Tickets cost $5. Admission is free for ages 12 and younger. Pets on leashes are allowed. For tickets, go to www.etix.com.
Movies by Moonlight
WakeMed Cary Hospital sponsors movie screenings at dusk, around 8:30 p.m., at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary.
Tickets are $3, free for kids younger than 12. A portion of proceeds will benefit the WakeMed Children’s Hospital. Picnics are allowed, but pets are not. Tickets are only available at the amphitheater box office from noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Cary’s Sertoma Series of free concerts will run through early August. Concerts are at Fred G. Bond Metro Park, 801 High House Road.

Seven O’Clock Rock Series
Cary’s third annual Seven O’Clock Rock series continues through Friday, July 18, on the corner of Academy and Chatham streets downtown. Free dance lessons start at 7 p.m., and free concerts start at 7:30 p.m.

Bill Schroeder and Sheron Jamel
Artwork by Bill Schroeder and Sheron Jamel will be on display through Wednesday, June 25, at the Holly Springs Cultural Center, 300 W. Ballentine St., Holly Springs.
Raizin’ a Ruckus Country Music Series
Cary will host country music concerts from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays from July 9 through July 30 at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary. Tickets are $5 for teens and adults and free for ages 12 and younger. Ruckus Pizza restaurants in Cary, Morrisville and Raleigh will offer a limited number of free tickets. Ruckus Pizza and radio station B93.9 are sponsoring the concert series.

• Wednesday, July 16: Johnny Orr Band.
• Wednesday, July 23: Amanda Daughtry.
• Wednesday, July 30: The Johnny Folsom 4 and the Canady Thomas Band.
Bidding will be open in the Cary Gallery of Artists’ summer auction from Friday, July 18, through Friday, July 25. Bidding will close during the Final Friday celebration. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 200 S. Academy St., Cary.
Cary Photographic Artists exhibit
