Senior Bingo

WakeMed Cary Hospital will present a screening of “Caddyshack” at dusk, around 8:30 p.m., at Koka Booth Amphitheatre, 8003 Regency Parkway, Cary.

Tickets are $3, free for kids younger than 12. A portion of proceeds will benefit the WakeMed Children’s Hospital. Picnics are allowed, but pets are not. Celebrate Fuquay-Varina

The seventh annual Celebrate Fuquay-Varina festival will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Fuquay-Varina. There will be two Kid Zones, live entertainment and more than 85 arts and crafts vendors. Tours of the new administrative offices building will be given throughout the day at 405 Spring Ave. Mayor John Byrne will lead a tour of historic sites, starting at 1:15 p.m. in the main entertainment tent. A public auction of paintings from Fuquay-Varina’s third annual En Plein Air Paint-Off will be from 2-4 p.m. on Vance Street. The top three winners’ paintings will be enlarged and placed on brick walls in the town’s historic district and added to the public art program organized by Fuquay-Varina Downtown and sponsored by Bob Barker, Inc.
