Pickleball leaders

Recently, a very nice article appeared in The Cary News and The News & Observer about the increased popularity of pickleball. Since I was introduced to the game a couple of years ago by a patron at the library where I work, I have followed the growth of the sport.

However, the article failed to mention the two individuals most responsible for the growth of the sport in this area – Mike Walsh and Luis Vasquez. I am not exaggerating when I state that these two men had more to do with the growth of the sport in this area than anyone else.
