Parking issue a shame
I read a July 13 letter to the editor in The Cary News and Southwest Wake News and cried. What is wrong with our society that no one cares about anyone anymore?
The letter writer said he tried to take his wife, who has a disability, to the Fourth of July celebration at Koka Booth Amphitheatre and had trouble finding handicapped-accessible parking.
How hard would it have been for the parking lot attendant to allow this family with a handicapped mother to park in a VIP parking lot “that was mostly empty” for the concert and fireworks display?
Shame on whoever is in charge of events at the Cary amphitheater. Makes me not want to attend anything that Cary endorses!
