No more crazy traffic patterns
I read about how Holly Springs wants to to add more U-turns. Oh my gosh, this has to be a joke. It’s not April 1 yet, but you must be kidding.
Stop this madness! I have lived in Holly Springs for 20 years now and I can remember back in the day when we were not the laughing stock of Wake County because of these new traffic loopy-de-loop turn-arounds.
Why would these town leaders think we are not capable of going straight through an intersection? We have spent millions on creating a user nightmare. This new pattern is very business unfriendly, and people are lost just trying to get to Target.
I have time and time again overheard people talking about these crazy turns. Many conversations end with, “I will not come back to this shopping center due to this traffic pattern.”
Now you want to build more and need more money. Wow! Just the waste in time and gas, plus the maintenance on vehicles and the pounding stress on the streets, is a reason to trash this plan.
I say spend the money on removing these current loopy-de-loops and fire the engineering team that drank the Kool-Aid from the N.C. Department of Transportation to be the county’s test bed for this disaster.
This is a classic government-gone-bad program. Stop now. Please save our city. We need to vote the leaders out of office if they don’t wake up.
