A water problem on High House Road

Fix the obvious! Seeing that the town of Cary plans to fix road intersections all over town, why can’t it fix the obvious standing-water problem on High House Road (between Maynard and Old Apex roads)?

Currently, the existing drainage grate seems to have elevated about three to four inches, which prevents the accumulated rain water from draining properly.

This constantly poses a dangerous situation, post heavy rains, when unsuspecting cars hit the large water pool.

The fix is simple – repave the three- to four-foot sections around the drain grate to be lower, and all the rain water goes down the drain like it’s suppose to.
