Cary handled weather issues admirably
Kudos to the Public Works department of the town of Cary. Their employees were incredibly vigilant in preparations for the recent weather crisis and continued daily after the precipitation ended to clean the streets, including the secondary and tertiary roads in various neighborhoods and subdivisions.
We met several of them on our daily dog walks, and while I know they must have been exhausted from long hours and difficult work, they always had smiles on their faces and professionalism and courtesy. But from my experience with the town’s employees, that is typical of the way in which they conduct themselves.
Mayor Harold Weinbrecht and Scott Hecht, director of Cary’s Public Works department, are to be commended for their management of the town’s needs. And most importantly, the employees working tirelessly to keep our streets safe and passable deserve the greatest of recognition. You all are awesome. Many thanks from a grateful and proud citizen of the town of Cary.
