At South Carolina, Alexis Murphy (Apex class of 2012) was seventh in the long jump at the SEC Championships. She was 19th in the NCAA Prelims (20-0.5) to close out the season.
As a senior at Appalachian State, pole vaulter Cassie Crawford (Panther Creek 2010) had four first-place finishes this past season and eight top-five finishes.
Teammate and fellow pole vaulter, Audrey Diener (Apex 2012), finished her sophomore season for the Mountaineers, with her best finish coming in at the 2014 Mountaineer Open Indoor Track Meet, where she took second. She also finished third at the Appalachian Pre-Conference Indoor Open Meet.
In her freshman year, Brianna Heilsnis (Apex 2013) broke the Clayton State (Ga.) school record in the discus and hammer.

Olivia Enright (Green Hope 2011) was 10th in the ACC Championships in the steeplechase while competing at N.C. State.
At East Carolina, Maura McDonnell (Green Hope 2013) competed in the 800 and 1,500.
Men’s track and field
Josh McClam (Holly Springs 2011) finished up his sophomore year at N.C. Central after redshirting the previous year. He competed in jumps and sprint events for N.C. Central. Teammate Kevin Vincent (Athens Drive 2012) competed in hurdle events.
Thomas Graham (Cary Academy 2012), now at Stanford, was his best in the 10,000-meter run in the PAC-12 Championships. He finished eighth.
At N.C. State, Brian Davis (Fuquay-Varina 2012) was 17th in the ACC in the 400 and 19th in the 200. Teammate Clay Jones (Fuquay-Varina 2012) was 30th in the 800 in the ACC Championships.
