2 teens wounded in Durham shooting

Two teens were wounded when an unidentified suspect fired several shots at them around 1:30 p.m. Sunday as they stood next to a building at 1240 Dayton St.

Police said an 18-year-old victim was struck once in the upper torso, while a 17-year-old was grazed on his upper torso by a bullet. The younger victim was treated at the scene by emergency responders, but the 18-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treament.

No further information was immediately available. The shooting is still under investigation.
