With federal OK, Triangle Transit starts planning Durham-Orange light rail

Eight years after the Federal Transit Administration killed a planned rail transit line between Durham and Raleigh, the agency approved the start of planning for a new transit line between UNC-Chapel Hill and downtown Durham.
