Police have identified a bicyclist who was hit by a car in Durham and found dead in a ditch early Sunday morning.
The cyclicst, identified Sunday afternoon as Isidro Razo, 49, of Angier Avenue, was discovered around 6:15 a.m. on Angier Avenue between Carter Avenue and Commonwealth Street, according to a Durham Police Department news release. Police think the vehicle suspected to have taken part in the hit-and-run is black.
Razo was westbound on Angier Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle, which had left the scene when police arrived. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
