No one was hurt after a woman drove her car through the front of a Clayton business on Saturday.
Sara Holder said she accidentally drove her car through the front of the Clayton Mart, 208 E. Main Street in downtown Clayton at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. She said her foot slipped on the gas pedal.
No one inside the store was hurt, according to town spokeswoman Stacy Beard, but the Clayton Mart will have to stay closed until an inspector can make sure the building is safe and structurally sound.
Holder was charged with a moving violation, Beard said.
