A fox in the Mordecai neighborhood runs across Courtland Drive before Raleigh police and Raleigh animal control officers could corral it Tuesday. The fox bit at least one person and tangled with a neighbor's cat on Courtland Drive Tuesday. The fox had been seen Tuesday moving between Mordecai Drive and Courtland Drive. At the height of the fox hunt with nets, police batons, and a tranquilizer gun, six Raleigh Police officers and four Raleigh Animal Control officers we on the hunt, and caught the animal late Tuesday afternoon.
