A masked man armed with a handgun and carrying spray paint was arrested before sunrise Saturday at the State Capitol.
State Capitol Police officers saw Perren Tremayne Moss, 32, wearing a mask and heavy clothing on the Capitol grounds at 4:57 a.m., according to a news release Saturday. Police said Moss had cans of spray paint in a backpack and was carrying a concealed .38-caliber handgun.
No property at the Capitol was damaged, police said.
Moss faces charges including carrying a concealed weapon and wearing a mask on public property.
