A Raleigh man was charged with eight burglaries and larcenies at the same apartment complex in southwest Raleigh and ordered held on $1 million bail because a magistrate deemed him a flight risk.
According to arrest warrants, police believe Tyree Marquette Page, 24, of 6300 Chadford Drive went into apartments on Thesis Circle, off Lake Wheeler Road south of Interstate 40, late at night or in the early morning hours, usually when people were home, and made off with various belongings.
The warrants accuse Page of five counts of first-degree burglary, which indicates the apartments were occupied, three counts of second-degree burglary and eight counts of larceny after breaking and entering a building.
The first break-in happened on Aug. 7, the warrants said, and was followed by four on Aug. 14, two on Sept. 2 and one last Friday.

Police arrested Page on Friday afternoon at his apartment, and he was slated to appear in front of a judge for the first time on Monday.
