A Raleigh woman faces charges from Wake Forest police that she used another woman's name, birthday and Social Security number to apply for eight credit cards in four days late in July.
In arrest warrants, police charged Riane Leigh Webb Brownlee of 14112 Kennington Park Drive with eight counts of identity theft.
Brownlee, police charged, applied for credit from seven different companies, applying to Bank of America twice. Discover and American Express were among the others.
The charges said the applications were made between July 24 and 27.

The charges did not disclose how police believed Brownlee got the other woman’s identity.
Brownlee was held over the weekend in lieu of $80,000 bail for a first court appearance Monday.
