Wake County sheriff's deputies charged a man with five counts of sexual exploitation Monday night, saying that he sent five child-pornography video files to a Cary police detective.
Carlos Lazaro Rivero, 52, was arrested at his home at 428 Longbourn Drive, records show.
Arrest warrants that carried five counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor said that between July 8 and last Friday, Rivero had sent video files to Detective Kevin West of the Cary Police Department.
West is assigned to fighting Internet child pornography.
Investigators estimated that the girls shown in the videos ranged from 1-3 years old to 11-13 years old, the warrants alleged.
Rivero was being held on $400,000 bail.
