Police on Thursday night went to a Glenwood Avenue hotel and arrested a man and woman whom authorities in Nashville, Tenn., have charged with first-degree murder in the death of a tourist from California on Sept. 25.
Andy Francisco Nunez, 22, and Daniela Veronica Cruz, 20, were at the Days Inn at 6919 Glenwood Ave. Police went there based on information that a Metropolitan Nashville Police Department detective had developed since Teddy Grasset, 30, of Los Angeles was killed in what authorities said appeared to be a robbery attempt of him and another man on a street behind the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Nunez and Cruz, who both live in Lavergne, Tenn., were indicted by a Davidson County, Tenn., grand jury along with a third man, Joseph Santillan, 25. Nashville Police Chief Steve Anderson said detectives are looking for Santillan.
North Carolina charged Nunez and Cruz with being fugitives from justice, and each was held on $1 million bail.

Tennessee authorities were preparing to extradite the two to Nashville for trial.
