Police on Wednesday arrested a man accused of armed robbery at a dry cleaners in March and of breaking into a storage building at a Whitfield Road home in Wake County in April.
An arrest warrant says that John Earl Yost, 29, threatened to shoot a woman at the Glamorama cleaners branch on March 27 and then made off with $100 in cash.
Wake County sheriff’s deputies had sworn out a warrant charging Yost with breaking into the storage building on April 2 and pawning two trolling motors, a tiller and a staple gun over the next few days.
The county charged Yost with felony breaking or entering and two felony counts of obtaining property by false pretense.
Booking officials at the Wake County Detention Center had no permanent address for Yost.
Yost was arrested Tuesday afternoon at Capital Boulevard and Brentwood Road, records showed.
He was held in lieu of $115,000 bail.
