A Wake Forest man is scheduled to be in Wake County court on Friday in connection with misdemeanor charges by Raleigh police that he had inappropriately touched six women and one man at a used-car business he runs.
Thomas Jefferson Lynn, 63, operates Freedom Auto Sales at 3020 Hillsborough St., police said.
According to a series of arrest warrants served Feb. 27 and March 13, police accused Lynn of three counts of assault on a female, three counts of soliciting prostitution and five counts of sexual battery.
The first charges came from a man and woman who visited the car lot and told police both had been touched, police spokesman Jim Sughrue said.
The second group of charges involved one of the first two complainants and five other women who accused Lynn after seeing news coverage of the first arrest, Sughrue said.
Nine of the charges are on the court docket for Friday. The remaining two are scheduled for a May 9 hearing.
Lynn surrendered to authorities for both arrests and was freed on bail.
