Police Friday announced that they are searching for a 21-year-old man they described as armed and dangerous, after three people were shot this week in Southeast Raleigh.
One of the shooting victims, Juan Romero Reyes, 27, died.
Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant charging Diallo Dwyan Daniels with murder, Laura Hourigan, a police spokeswoman reported.
At 1:22 a.m. Wednesday, a woman called 911 and told an emergency dispatcher that someone outside her apartment had been shot and was on the ground moaning, according to a copy of the 911 recording made public Wednesday. She told the dispatcher that at least two people had been struck by gunfire.
The woman told the dispatcher that there were “a lot of people outside, watching,” but she was unable to provide a physical description of the suspected shooter, according to the 911 recording.
Officers arrived at about 1:25 a.m. to the 300 block of Dacian Road and found the three gunshot victims. Paramedics rushed all three to WakeMed, where Reyes died, Hourigan reported.
