A 21-year-old man who police had said was armed and dangerous was arrested early Tuesday on murder and assault charges related to an Aug. 2 shooting that killed one person and wounded two on Dacian Road.
Police said last week that they had sworn out warrants charging Diallo Dwyan Daniels, who lives on Briar Oaks Lane.
Daniels is accused of killing Juan Romero Reyes, 27, whom police found on the street after being sent to the 300 block of the street in response to a 911 call saying people had been shot.
EMS medics took the three wounded people to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, where Reyes was pronounced dead.
Dacian was found in Greenville, as was a suspect arrested Tuesday in a homicide the day before on Pebble Beach Drive, police spokeswoman Laura Hourigan said.
Daniels was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and with violating probation on a felony conviction in another county.
