A Wake County 17-year-old turned himself in Tuesday to face charges from Wake County sheriff's investigators that he supplied a 9mm handgun and drove the car used in what officials said was a drive-by attempted murder earlier this month.
Rictavion Eugene Lee was named in an arrest warrant that said he provided the gun that Brandon Dionta Harris, 17, is accused of using to shoot at Jamar Johnson while Johnson was on the porch of a house near Zebulon on Aug. 9.
The warrant also said Lee was driving when the shots were fired. He is accused of attempted murder and conspiracy to kill Johnson.
Arrest records listed Lee as living on Jonesville Road and has a Wake Forest address. Harris lives on Fowler Road and has a Zebulon address.
Harris was arrested at his home on Friday on attempted murder and conspiracy charges.
Authorities have not disclosed whether Lee and Harris knew Johnson or why he was shot at.
Lee was held in lieu of $1 million bail.
