Police say a man robbed the same North Tarrboro Street convenience store twice in five days.
Amory Gregory Grant, 24, who appeared to have no permanent address, was arrested Wednesday afternoon at a shopping center on North Raleigh Boulevard and accused of two counts each of robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy and second-degree kidnapping.
Arrest warrants said the H&K Mini Mart was robbed on March 25 and March 30 by men with a black pistol who took an undisclosed amount of cash.
The warrants did not identify the person with whom police think Grant conspired.

A magistrate set Grant’s bail at $500,000, noting in records that Grant was a “danger to the public” with an “extensive criminal history.”
State prison and county arrest records showed that Grant has 14 arrests in Wake County and was most recently released from jail in January after probation for an earlier conviction was revoked in 2014.
