Police charged a man with heroin trafficking, saying they found two-thirds of a pound of it in his apartment and that he had sold a smaller amount.
Christopher Blake Squire, 23, was charged Friday evening with having the larger heroin stash – about 303 grams – heroin in his apartment at 4700 Courtside Place and with having, transporting and selling between 4 and 14 grams to what police labeled “an unknown suspect.”
They also charged Squire with illegally having a .357 Magnum revolver because he was convicted of felony aggravated assault in Georgia in 2010. Felons are not allowed to have guns.
Police also accused Squire of conspiring with Brandon Lamaar Anderson, 27, of 1248 Angelus Drive in Raleigh in the sale, and they charged Anderson with heroin trafficking, too.
Never miss a local story.
Squire was held in lieu of $300,000 bail and Anderson in lieu of $100,000, and both were scheduled for first court appearances Monday.
