Two people were wounded in shootings Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, police said.
In the Wednesday incident, police said a man was shot while he was standing outside an apartment at 323 S. Woodcrest St. at about 12:15 a.m.
The man was seriously hurt, police said, but his condition at Duke University Hospital and his identity were undisclosed.
At about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, police found a man had been shot while sitting in a vehicle near a house at 2207 Ashe St., they said.
That man’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening, but police disclosed no other details of the case.
The shootings happened a few miles apart, and police gave no indication that they were related.
