Police arrested a woman early Tuesday for allegedly breaking into a hair salon in February and stealing seven salon chairs, two sinks and hair-care supplies, according to arrest warrants.
The warrants said the break-in happened Feb. 5 at His and Hers Hair Salon at 1105 Walnut St., and that detectives obtained a warrant for Vanesha Nicole Sambula, 40, earlier this month.
They arrested Sambula, listed on the warrant as Kelly-Sambula, at her home at 1006 Village Greenway shortly after midnight, records showed. She was accused of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny.
The warrant estimated the total value of the items stolen as $9,000.
Arrest records listed Sambula as working at a hair salon now, thought not the one that was burglarized.
A magistrate set her bail at $20,000, and Sambula was held for a first court appearance.
