A second man charged in the Sunday night shooting of a Selma man who was found dead outside a Benson home is in custody in the Johnston County Jail.
Terry Lamont Williams surrendered to sheriff’s deputies at the jail Thursday afternoon, Benson police said.
Jermale Tavaris Williams, who is charged with first-degree murder, had turned himself in to authorities in Wake County on Wednesday.
Terry Williams, 33, was named in a warrant charging that he was an accessory after the fact of murder in Longmire’s death. Williams’ bail was set at $125,000.
Jermale Williams, 29, was being held without bail after being brought to Johnston County.
Longmire, 39, was found dead on the lawn outside 325 W. Harnett St. shortly before 11 p.m. Sunday after police got a call that gunshots had been heard in the area.
