Wake Forest police are looking for help from the public to identify five people they hope to question about counterfeit money that was spent at a Walmart store last month.
Police said three men and a woman might have been involved in several incidents in which people gave clerks phony money.
They want to ask a second woman about one incident on Aug. 17, police said.
All the money was passed at the Walmart at 2114 S. Main St., police said.
Never miss a local story.
Police said they hoped anyone who can help them identify or find the people shown in surveillance photos would call their tip line at 919-435-9610. Calls to that number are confidential, police said.
