Members of an anti-drug task force arrested a California woman at Raleigh-Durham International Airport late Saturday on multiple charges, saying she had 1.28 pounds of heroin with her.
Mary Elizabeth Rosavelez, 34, was charged by a Cary police officer assigned to a multiagency drug task force. Police listed her home as 711 C Ave. in National City, Calif., south of San Diego and near the U.S. Navy’s San Diego base.
An arrest warrant charged Rosavelez with two counts of heroin trafficking and one count of conspiring to traffic the drug. The warrant did not identify whom police think Rosavelez was conspiring in the Triangle or in California.
The warrant charged that Rosavelez had 582 grams of heroin, which is just over 1.28 pounds.
