After U.S. Marshals made an arrest at a Virginia hotel Thursday, Durham police were seeking the last of four men named as suspects in the death of a man found shot on Scout Drive in mid-November.
A marshal service fugitive task force found Rashad Lamon Neal, 21, who lives in Durham, at a Budget Inn in Kenbridge, Va., late in the afternoon, police said in a statement.
Neal’s arrest left 19-year-old Jonathan McLendon of Durham as the last man detectives believe was involved in killing Paul Jones, 53. Jones was found dead in the 1200 block of Scout Drive about 1 a.m. on Nov. 16.
Police had received a report of shots being fired in the area.
Tyquan Demario Nelson, 18, of Durham was arrested in Durham last Sunday and charged him with murder.
Corinthian Eddie Bowens, 16, of Durham was arrested New Year’s Eve and charged with murder.
Nelson and Bowens were being held without bail. Bowens also faces grand jury indictments from last year on charges of breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony conspiracy.
Neal was being held in the Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville, Va.
