A 19-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man were hurt Tuesday night in a shooting in North Raleigh, police said.
The incident happened shortly before 8:30 p.m., when police were sent to check on a report of shots having been fired in the 400 block of Hensley Drive, police spokeswoman Laura Hourigan said.
Officers answering a second call received shortly after the first found the man and woman about 2 miles away in the 8300 block of Office Center Drive, she said. Officers said the two appeared to have driven there after being wounded.
Both were taken to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Officials did not disclose details about the injuries.
Hensley Drive is a cul-de-sac of apartment buildings off Six Forks Road between Spring Forest Road and Mourning Dove Road.
