A Raleigh man is facing charges that he used a handgun to rob hotels last week in Raleigh and Cary.
Aaron Michael Hubbard, 33, of 8203 Green Lantern St. was first charged Jan. 20 after Raleigh detectives brought him to their headquarters for questioning. He was accused of robbery with a dangerous weapon the day before at Ramada Inn.
Police said in an arrest warrant that Hubbard got $325.
Sunday, Cary detectives went to the Wake County Detention Center where Hubbard was being held and charged him with robbery with a dangerous weapon on Jan. 20 at a Red Roof Inn before Raleigh police had taken him into custody.

Cary’s arrest warrant accused Hubbard of taking $175.
Hubbard was also charged with skipping a court appearance, and he was being held in lieu of $301,000 bail. He was scheduled to appear before a judge on the Cary charge on Monday.
