Two men and a woman were charged Friday in the fatal shooting of a man Jan. 15 on North Miami Boulevard.
Jesus Salgado Briseno, 18, of 5218 Kerley Road, and Luis Garcia Navarro, 21, of 412 E. Pilot St., were charged with murder in the killing of Jose Giovanni Guillen-Rodriguez, 25.
Reina Espana, 25, of 800 Brye St., Durham, was charged with felony accessory after the fact. Police say she drove Briseno and Navarro away from the scene of the murder.
The three suspects and another man, Raymond Delvalle III, had been arrested Thursday in connection with a break-in on Wake Forest Highway.
Officers executing search warrants at the Brye Street address found stolen electronics and a television, the Durham County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release Saturday. At another location, officers found two stolen rifles, a stolen shotgun and swords.
All four suspects were charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and larceny of a firearm.
The four remained at Wake County Dention Center on Saturday afternoon without bail.
Briseno is set to appear in court at 9 a.m. on Feb. 2 at the New Durham County Courthouse. Navarro is set to appear at 9 a.m. on Feb. 1 at the New Durham County Courthouse.
