Police on Thursday charged a 33-year-old man with robbing an athletic shoe store at gunpoint.
Two other suspects who are unknown to police are still at large, Kammie Michael, a police spokeswoman reported.
Investigators have charged Anthony Jerome Brown, 33, of Durham on Devlin Place, with one count each of robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and assault by pointing a gun.
He was placed in custody at Durham County jail without benefit of bail, Michael reported.

Brown was taken into custody Thursday by members of the U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force.
Police accused Brown of an armed robbery that took place Dec. 21 at the Athlete’s Foot store at 4215 University Drive.
Witnesses told police that three armed men with their faces covered walked into the business around 8:15 p.m. and took several pairs of Air Jordan Retro 8 tennis shoes.
Investigators have not yet identified the other two suspects involved in the robbery, Michael reported.
