A local man faces multiple charges after being accused of committing a sex offense at the parking deck of the Marriott hotel in downtown Raleigh.
Warrants show that Brandon Quentin Barbour, 25, of 6221 Darwin Court in Raleigh, was arrested Friday on charges of assault on a female, indecent exposure, sexual battery, resisting a public officer and assault inflicting physical injury on a law enforcement officer. Barbour is being held at the Wake County jail on a combined $100,000 in secured bonds.
Arrest warrants say that on March 3, Barbour pushed a woman against her vehicle in the parking deck of the Raleigh Marriott City Center on 500 Fayetteville Street. The warrants say that Barbour then exposed his private parts and sexually gratified himself as he pinned the woman against the vehicle with his arm.
Warrants say that during Barbour’s arrest on Friday, he inflicted scrapes and cuts to the hands, elbows and knees of Raleigh Police Officer M. Stangler.
Court records show that Barbour has been arrested in the past on charges of indecent exposure.
