A man who was found shot on Grace Lane in Durham last month has died, and police are treating his death as a homicide.
Cortnay Garner-McDougald, 25, of Durham was shot near the intersection of Grace Lane and Liberty Street, just east of downtown, shortly before 10 p.m. on March 25, according to police. Officers who responded to a shooting call found him lying near the corner.
Garner-McDougald died over the weekend, police announced Monday.
Investigators are still trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting and have not named any suspects or made any arrests.
